Motorcycle Safety
Helmets save lives!
Driving a motorcycle can be exilerating and let you see the world in
a whole different way.
One expwerienced cyclest said "When I'm riding I not only see my
surroundings, I'm part of
them." When you choose to ride a motorcycle you also take on some
risks that motorists do not
You are no longer surrounded by a steel cage which can protect you in a
crash.

Proper equipment
while riding can reduce
serious injuries. In a crash your body will
continue traeling at the same speed as the bike
was before the crash until you hit something.
In many cases the head is the first part of the body
to hit the pavement, or a tree or a guide rail.
When your head hits a hard object the brain inside your
skull keeps traveling at that speed until it strikes the bone
inside your skull. A good quality helmet will help cushion
the skull and reduce injuries. The same dynamic applies to other
parts of the body when you
strike an object. Smart riders wear a helmet along with top quality
protective gear to rduce other
injuries.
