South Central PA highway safety provides programs
to schools and groups to  encourage safety while walking.
Each year we participate in wlak safe to schoo events. Students learn
how to safely negotiate streets and intersections while walking to school.

School Bus Safety
Most students in our area ride school buses to and from school.  We are available
to talk to groups and students about safety on buses.  Even more important
is safety outside the bus.  Even with all the mirrors on a school bus deaths
and injuries continue to occur.  There is a large danger zone surrounding the bus,
at least 10 feet wide.  Students must learn to stay out of the danger zone and
follow all directions from the driver.
